Japanese Shinobi boxart, spotted on Amazon.co.jp. Okay, so the “3D” added to the logo is pretty bad — it doesn’t exactly match the font of “Shinobi,” and looks a lot like something you’d do in Word.
However! The “Shinobi 3D Cartridge” label on the top is adorable. It’s a nice callback to vintage Shinobi:
